In designing the HP Series high pressure hydraulic cylinders, Lehigh has developed a product that is rugged, reliable and the perfect balance of design, material and precision workmanship. HP cylinders can be designed for spring extend and retract, configured for all types of hydraulic fluids including water and with many sensing options including tie rod mounted limit switches up to 4″ bore.
Other Seal Options:
Viton – for high temperature and some fire-proof fluids
EPR – (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) Some fire proof fluids, some aircraft fluids, automotive brake fluid
Nitrile – vegetable oils, water/glycol, water

The LSSW® Series High-Pressure Hydraulic Stainless Steel Cylinders are designed to achieve long life and consistent performance in the most challenging conditions including submerged operation, chemical exposure, Clean Room Operation and in FDA and USDA approved equipment.
Options: all 316 SS construction, water hydraulic, high temp seals, seals for non-petroleum based fluid, sub-sea applications and tie rod mounted limit switches up to 4″ bore.

The JHDH Series offers pressure ratings from 2000 PSI with the 1″ bore to 600 PSI for the 6″ bore (see catalog for bore v. maximum working pressure rating). The construction of the actuators in this series gives the system designer the ability to more closely and cost effectively match the actuator to the circuit pressure rather than opting for the 3000 PSI rated high pressure hydraulic series.

The all stainless LSSE® series are rated from 1500 PSI at 1″ bore and go to 600 PSI at 6″ bore (see catalog for bore v. maximum working pressure rating). As with the JHDH series, the system designer can add tie rod mounted limit switches as an economical alternative to proximity sensors or linear diplacement transducers.
